I love the idea of a tree guardian! It was sad that the old tree was beginning to fall apart and died. You had room to add a few more words, so perhaps the tree guardian could have come along with a cure after all? Or maybe, that’s just my desire for a happy ending because I feel sorry for the poor old tree?!! Hee hee…
